Police searching for two Kentucky teenagers who have been on a “brazen and dangerous” crime spree since Jan. 4 found their abandoned pick-up truck in Georgia Thursday morning, authorities say.
The teenage fugitives, 18-year-old Dalton Hayes and 13-year-old Cheyenne Phillips, left their homes in central Kentucky at the beginning of the year to embark on what the media has dubbed a “Bonnie & Clyde“-type crime spree, damaging property, stealing cars with firearms inside, and cashing stolen checks.
According to the NY Daily News:
The two fugitives were spotted at a Walmart in Manning, S.C. on Monday but since then they have traveled south through Georgia, officials with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department told the Daily News Thursday.
