A woman from Albany, Georgia filed an excessive force lawsuit, stating that a police officer threw her to the ground so hard that she was knocked unconscious, which ultimately caused her to lose her unborn child. All of this occurred because the cop didn’t appreciate her tone of voice, allegedly.
According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred when Kenya Harris’ minor son was arrested in Albany, Georgia in 2011. After 5 hours at the Albany Police Department, Harris says she insisted she leave to take care of her other children, angering the officer.
