The Department of Justice is currently preparing to sue the city of Ferguson over discriminatory policing, if they do not agree to fix alleged police tactics involving racial discrimination.

According to CNN, Attorney General Eric Holder is set to announce the results of the DOJ’s investigation of the shooting of Michael Brown, who was unarmed and shot by Officer Darren Wilson in August 2014. He will be making the announcement of the investigations, as well as the probe of the police department, just before he leaves office in the coming weeks.

Reports say that the Department of Justice plans to not charge Wilson for the shooting, but they do hope to “outline findings that allege a pattern of discriminatory tactics used by the Ferguson police.”
