A Wisconsin police officer who shot and killed a 26-year-old man over the weekend did so on his first day back on duty following the shooting of another man just two weeks prior.
The victim, Aaron Siler of Kenosha, was said to be armed when he was fatally shot by Officer Pablo Torres, the Chicago Tribune reports. Siler was reportedly wanted on a felony warrant when he led police on a chase before he was shot.
Just two weeks before, on March 14, Torres wounded another man who was said to be armed with two knives.
He was placed on leave and returned to work Saturday. He encountered Siler that same day.
